Who is Evan?
Want to know what it's like being a contestant on Wheel of Fortune? Evan will tell you. Curious about what Martha Stewart is really like? He spent a day at home with her. Wonder why people collect? He wrote his Master's thesis about it and interviewed collectors across the country for a short documentary film.
Evan has always been a producer at heart. Following a few early stints in the entertainment industry, Evan turned to a career in communications, alumni engagement, development and fundraising where he has been able to bring his creativity, writing skills, and passion for media into all of his work. A creative consultant, Evan has worked closely with award-winning authors, chefs and artists producing content that promotes their work to the public and tells their stories in a unique way.
Over the past 20 years, working in both higher and secondary education, Evan has found new avenues for effective storytelling and has been able to continue doing what he loves most: meeting fascinating people, sharing their stories and connecting them with others. Below are examples of the work Evan has produced, including Newark Academy's award-winning Day of Giving videos.

Interviews with Alumni
At NYU, Evan created and produced the NYU Arts and Science Alumni Podcast, interviewing numerous alumni. He brought this same format to Newark Academy where he continues to interview alumni and share their stories through the NA Voices Podcast.

Incorporating video into your communications and fundraising strategy.
Evan has presented at CASE NAIS Conferences and most recently at the NJAIS Advancement Summit on how to creatively incorporate video into fundraising efforts. Wanting to do something that had never been done before in a session at CASE NAIS, Evan created the video on the left during his presentation to show the audience how easy it is to produce a video. He enjoys consulting with schools, businesses and other organizations about how to creatively think through their marketing and communications strategies.
